You may be going through a dark place, but Jesus is there with you! He remains close even when it’s hard to see light at the end of the tunnel. You are never alone! He promised never to leave or forsake.
Fear will never conquer me, for you already have conquered this!
Jesus told us not to fear. He asked us to cheer up because He overcame the world. Not only is He with you, He also gave you weapons to overcome. I have discovered with each attack comes some fear. Maybe I won’t recover. Maybe this is too much for me. But we keep our eyes on Him and believe He is able to bring us through victoriously! There are no surprises with God. He has already prepared you to win this battle.
You remain close to me and lead me through it all the way
What can separate us from God’s love? (Nothing, absolutely nothing). Since Jesus went to hell for you, how much darker place can you be going through than that? He remains close because His Spirit is in you. You are never alone. The Spirit is more than a feeling. He is a divine person living inside. You can’t get any closer than “in you”. When I was pregnant I was so aware of this little person in me constantly. That’s how it is with God’s Spirit. His still small voice will guide you through the situation one step at a time.
Prayer and confession:
Today I choose not to fear. I choose to trust You. I choose to believe You are with me in the light days as well as the dark days. You have already gone ahead and know the best path for me to take. I trust You to lead me by Your still small voice inside. Thank You I’m not alone even though I’m not sure where the path ahead leads. I know you are in me and with me. Thanks so much! We’re going through this and coming to the other side!
