Sometimes I take God’s goodness for granted. He is so merciful and loving and I’m used to it. But have you ever considered that the god of the universe (not our Father God) could have been harsh and spiteful and enslave us? Are we so used to His goodness that we forget to thank Him for who He is? Or do we realize there are many who don’t know our God at all?
“Let everyone give all their praise and thanks to the Lord! Here’s why- He’s better than anyone could ever imagine. Yes, he’s always loving and kind, and his faithful love never ends. So, go ahead-let everyone know it! Tell the world how he broke through and delivered you from the power of darkness and has gathered us together from all over the world. He has set us free to be his very own!” Psalm 107:1-3 TPT
- God’s love is better than you can imagine
Since God first loved us and doesn’t ever withdraw His love- it is unlike any other person’s love. In fact in Ephesians Paul’s prayer is that we would come to know the length and depth and height of God’s love in us and for others.
- God’s faithfulness is better than you can imagine
Who (other than God) in your life has been more faithful to never leave you? Who in your life has always stood with you? Who always forgave you and forgot the offense? God Almighty is this and more.
- God’s provision is better than you can imagine
Stop and think back to every job you received and favor and blessing. God has always been there to meet every need and bless you with more than enough!
Since God is more than we could imagine, I encourage us all to tell each other about how good God is to us! The world is longing to know a good God and needs His love. Tell your story of what God has done for you. We frequently discuss the problems we are navigating. How much more blessing can we bring to ourselves and others by telling how God has delivered us and brought us from darkness into light and into His marvelous God family?
