Sickness is a result of satanic oppression. The presence of God brings healing. Prayers and praises offered in our services are powerful and bring healing to people. Just as God was with Jesus in bringing healing to people, God’s Spirit lives in the believer and His healing presence can set oppressed people free.
“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.” Acts 10:38
Jesus is in a class all His own of course. But He also ministered by the anointing of the Holy Spirit just as we do. Have you ever thought about the fact that when you lead worship or help in the service, and are anointed of God, that it can heal the oppressed? In fact we should be aware that is part of the reason for the praise service. It carries the power of God to set people free from things that would oppress them. And this works for you alone in your house too!
Satanic oppression can be manifested as sickness. It is manifested as suicidal thoughts. It looks weary and weighed down. It feels heavy. It could be depression. But none of these is more powerful than the presence of God. God’s presence invaded a totally dark world and with one word “light be”, all was changed!
Whether you are alone or in a group of people or in church, one word from God can change your situation. The most powerful word is the one you speak to yourself. Do good for your family and yourself today by singing praises and filling your atmosphere with God’s supernatural presence. Jesus came to undo the works of the devil in our lives in every form. We simply believe He is the Healer and begin to thank Him for healing.
