Do You See Yourself Seated With Christ?

March 22, 2022

We are seated with Christ in heavenly places. We are not beside Him but with Him. He in us, we in Him. It’s great that Jesus has authority. But that authority has been given to us as well.  This truth has absolutely changed my praying. I used to pray  from an earthly position trying to reach up to God. Now I see myself in  a position seated at the right hand of God with Christ. We’re to do Kingdom business in prayer along with Jesus.

As you know, the Bible is written as a letter and not with chapters and verse markings. So this particular passage seems chopped up by a lot of definition. So I omitted the markings so we could look at the total phrase and its meaning. (Eph 1:19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe,
Eph 1:20 Which he wrought in Christ Ephesians 2;1 and you).

We are commissioned to use His name . The power is in the resurrection when the Holy Spirit raised Jesus and us from death to life. We often don’t dare think that God could answer our prayer as surely as He would Jesus- but that’s exactly what this says. God set Jesus and you at his own right hand of authority. What a privileged place! It changes how we pray and worship because we’re not far from Him but at Father’s right hand in position and in privilege.

I challenge us all to operate in our God-given authority!
