Attitudes to Avoid when Planning Services

January 31, 2022

Just as Jesus came to do the Father’s will, so we are here to do His will. Leading worship is an extension of our walk with God. The closer we walk, the more anointed we talk.

Who’s In Charge?

Are we willing to lay aside our wills for His will? Sometimes it’s the little things. I want the solo- but who is God leading to sing it? I want to play the piano- but is the overall will and plan for this service need you in this position? There have been seasons when I was needed in other places to minister and I was willing to allow others to play or sing instead of me.  How to avoid cookie cutter worship services

I’m Replaceable

None of us has a permanent position when it comes to the church. As a church leader, spend some time in prayer to discern who has something that morning to share. You may be the leader, but there are others who may have something to say on the team as well. Let’s stretch our team members to come ready to be used and ready to give and sometimes okay with sitting out and leading from the congregation. It’s not about me. It’s not about performance. It’s about His will for that service.Ways to eulogize your teams
