God is a God of hope. After all, He spoke to darkness and said “light be”. He never reports how bad something is. He never has failure in mind. He never thinks something is too difficult. He never has a bad day that He just doesn’t want to come through for you. God is hopeful about you and your dreams and life. He believes in you and wants to see the dreams He put in you come to pass.
Sometimes life happens to steal our hope and dreams. I want to encourage you today not to give up on your dreams and faith projects just because they haven’t come to pass yet.
There’s no expiration date on faith projects.
So pick them up again and realize it pleases God for you to give Him things to work with. He wants you to create with your life.
Now may God, the inspiration and fountain of hope, fill you to overflowing with uncontainable joy and perfect peace as you trust in him. And may the power of the Holy Spirit continually surround your life with his super-abundance until you radiate with hope! Romans 15:13 The Passion Translation
Bible Hope is defined as expectation, anticipation, confidence and faith. God is the inspiration of your hope. He is a fountain that won’t run dry. As you hope (trust and expect) God to help you, joy and peace results. There’s joy because you believe something good is going to happen. There’s peace because you cast the care of trying to make something happen on God. The mere practice of expecting God and trusting Him will keep you steady when trouble comes. God is your supply to bring about the accomplishment of your dreams.
A side benefit of our trusting God is that we will radiate hope to others. And this season people need a good supply of hope that God is still a big loving God who desires to work on our behalf.
